Lake Products Company LLC was formed in 1949 by Edward Ross who was a pharmaceutical chemist and he developed the chemical structure for "Sea Salt" ASTM D1141-98 (Original Standard ASTM D1141-52). We specialize in the manufacturing and marketing of our laboratory testing chemical "Sea Salt" ASTM D1141-98. We market our products internationally to companies, corporations, governments and universities who are engaged in corrosion testing, oceanographic research, and ocean instrument calibration. This product is used as a synthetic seawater in field and laboratory research testing. In addition, there are many other uses and applications for this product including biological and chemical processing. We also manufacture our "Synthetic Seawater" ASTM D1141-98 product which is shipped ready-made for use and application.

Since the company's inception, all products manufactured and sold by Lake Products Company LLC are exclusively manufactured in the USA.
